Has Spring Sprung? Maybe, eh. Not quite. But it definitely seems like it’s on its way. New York weather is kind of crazy leading into spring. Your morning can start out needing the long coat, the beanie, sometimes even the gloves. By noon you’re down to only whatever was underneath the long coat with the rest of the accessories in your hands. It’s definitely not ideal, but sometimes you’ve got to learn to make the most of it. With that in mind, I compiled a list of Spring (or Almost-Spring) must haves that can take you through your day with ease.

To start out, we have this long sleeve shirt. I really loved the uniform style, with the light stitching on the outside. There are even matching pants that you can make a whole monochrome look out of. This is the perfect outfit for cool-but-not-quite-warm-yet kinda days. 🙂 Pairing this with a simple overcoat will keep you happy throughout the (literal) highs and lows of the day.

Next we have this recycled cashmere sweater. Obviously, this will be a little warmer. Paired with something on top, the cashmere will keep you warm while you need it! But on days that are a little warmer but still windy.

Everyone needs a staple sneaker, and you can never go wrong with a simple white. I chose these classic Reeboks. There is subtle detail that sets them apart from a regular white sneaker, and the price point is unbeatable. If you’re looking for something that is a little less simple, there are these New Balance at just under $100. Everybody needs some dad shoes in their wardrobe.

On days that are a little warmer, there is this simple white button down. It is short sleeve, but the subtle design makes it perfect for layering up to whatever weather you’re facing that day. All of these items are perfect staples whether it is spring or not. They are simple, but elevated.
